Cardboard furniture with  Scanteak (Soutien)

I was researching online and I came across a website about stories of dogs. Inspired by the Cultural depictions of dogs that they are depicted to symbolize fidelity, the faithfulness to a person demonstrated by support. My design is a chair to provide support and make the user comfortable when sitting.

I used the slotting method for cardboard to make the chair strong and steady so that it is comfortable when the user is sitting on it.

Designing a home furniture reminded us about pets as they are seen as a companion to people. Thus, I incorporated dog with a seat.

This packaging is designed to provide a better user experience. It is inspired by the shape of an origami, the hexagonal shape provides a better grip. It can be flatten after the use finish the popcorn.

There's a pocket feature at the bottom of the packaging to prevent the crumps or any leftovers from falling out when it is flattened.

When the packaging is flattened, it also limits the space taken in the dustbin, this will make cleaning easier and limit the uses of plastic for the rubbish bin.

3 tier document tray design

tray.JPG

This is a 3 tier document ray designed with a interlocking feature at the side so that it allows the user to put any numbers of tray.

The edges are all rounded so it does not hurt the user. The surface is flat as it is designed to put at least 20 papers or more on each tray. Having it flat will prevent the paper from getting marks or indentation from the protruding part.

This is a project to cad out a toy with at least 8 parts within a given time range.

It was a great experience as it was rather fun to cad out a complicated structure with multiple intricate parts.

This is a toothpick holder made with meranti wood with a given size.
It resemblanced a pig as I spiked this idea when I was using toothpick to eat sausage. There is a drawer like feature for the user to take the toothpick out one by one. The cap at the top is for refilling of toothpicks.

Eldex Project

The target audience is the elderly who has joint problems, so having such facilities, it'll allow the elderly to cook and clean at ease.

This is a kitchen cabinet catered to elderly needs.
The amount of space occupied by the whole kitchen cabinet is very little as it is designed to fit the kitchen space of the BTO plan for elderly. As more elderly will be living in this space, this product will be more sustainbale to the market. All the spaces are fully utilised, such as the doors of the cabinet.
The pull down dish washer and putt out shelf is designed to let elderly take their items easily. There is a step stool below the hood for easier cleansing.
